MBFWA to-VIVID-to Great Art 'n' Shsstyle IN-between!!

Although I often don't show them in pictures; mostly; well lots of my friends are creatives. Hello! Artists, Designers, Art LOVERS! (probably a few bullshit artists..) Scribes of one sort of another, Musicians! Of course; Lovers not Haters. PR's, well that's a tricky one.. And I almost never show them in a blog post even if they are at an event. Strange or not, it's almost like if you are a friend of mine, I will edit you out of the story of the night (or day) in some sort of attempt at journalistic impartiality.. no that can't be it I'm a blogger! Anyway this week it's an all-in, everyone, who, whom, whomever.. and looking fresher too I think. Here's the Art. New Byzantium : Raffles Graduate Fashion Parade 2013

Considering Byzantium was the height of civilisation of the old world perhaps New Byzantium is a truly fitting title for the 2013 Raffles College Graduate Fashion Parade; Which was, in terms of the creativity and quality of the fashion on show, a truly stunning fashion spectacle. Yes you don't hear me talking like that very often now do you!

And in amongst a consistently high standard were to my eye a few outstanding designers - there must be something in the water at Raffles at the moment.. Sharon Widjaja, stylishly elegant in white; Matiny Ng's over-the-top yet, still wearable designs; Rebecca Chen's tasteful futurism in whites and pinks; Skye Hays soft feminine dresses.. Great menswear that I will blog separately too, yes I will; along with more shots from some of the designers I enjoyed the most.
