Windsor Smith Celebrates 70 years at #HarbourLife Sydney 2016.

Founded in Melbourne in 1946 I suppose every Aussie has a Windsor Smith shoe story and I certainly have a few. They have been a go-to fashion shoe for me, especially in my late teens and early 20s and the ranges for men and women continue to excite expectation while looking great and providing affordable quality and style to this day. So to say I was pretty chuffed to be a VIP guest at their 70th 'birthday' party is something of an understatement. Held in a special marquee at Harbour Life, Sydney's gorgeous Botanic Gardens with the Opera House and 'Coathanger' as the perfect scenic backdrop.. Thank You WINDSOR SMITH for all the great shoes and keeping me stylishly on my feet on more nights out than I can possibly ever remember. What more can I say other than thanks for a killer party; Happy Happy Birthday and many more to come!

Photographing Backstage with Watson x Watson at MBFWA.

I was privileged last week to photograph backstage at the Watson x Watson fashion show, part of the Mecedes Benz Fashion Week Australia, or, #MBFWA; yes much easier.. While there were quite a few models walking in the show and most were from IMG, some including Madison Stubbington arrived somewhat later having had to rush over from a previous show; for these models this meant an intensive time with the teams from Redken for hair and Curtis Collection doing make up with very many hands working together to have the models ready to go. Must say the models were all a sea of calm in a maelstrom of activity! And the action never stops with, the hair and make up teams following the models all the way to the runway providing final touch ups on the go. Electric's Craig Anderson signature sunglasses Txoko Launch at The Old Growler.

Last Thursday night saw the launch of the 'Txoko' surfer dude Craig Anderson signature sunglasses. A bevy good looking guys and gals got together to eat, drink, chat, and even try-on the brand new sunnies from Californian sport and lifestyle brand Electric. Craig was there in person and in good spirit and I even managed to talk him into a quick portrait in the kitchen; scene of my mini Txoko photoshoot (pics below, just scroll down). The sunglasses like the crowd and the food and beverage all seemed pretty top shelf. Thanks to my models from our impromptu shoot, big thanks to Electric and a thank you to The Old Growler, their chef and fabulous staff. What a great launch party.
