Bling it on - Mardi Gras Ready Shorts that Sparkle!

Well while these shorts may not be 'Just for Mardi Gras' as they were spotted yesterday over in Chippendale Sydney; I do love this outfit, perfect summer shorts (perfect tan) with a clubbing bling sparkle to them in a great green with flower motif, white halter-neck top and a denim jacket just in case the weather turns. Love those oversize sunnies too. Ready or nor? Definitely Mardi Gras ready!

Men in Florals on Black - Spring Summer Shirts and Shorts.

Spotted a few weeks ago at Martin Browne Contemporary this pairing of colourful leaves and flowers on black was too good to let slip by; especially with that fabulous Reuben Paterson artwork as a background.  as a former student of Reuben's can there be any doubt that this outfit was carefully selected just for the show. The other thing that struck me was that the fabrics looked so similar to some of the Three Over One range I had just photographed for their web site; no the outfit was not from them though it was purchased along Oxford Street somewhere..  I have dropped a shot of the aforementioned below so you can see where I am coming from.

Ça va Gallery 8 - To The Outside In.

I have been wondering whether to show these street fashion shots or not for the past two days. I certainly like them though I am thinking they are a bit too close to night-out party-shots which is certainly not the idea behind them! Ça va are they street fashion? Well considering the title of the exhibition perhaps they are just right - To The Outside In; a lovely little group photography show is on now at Gallery 8 until the 3rd of March and some of the last nights of the Australian Summer..

Twins in Pink & Blue - Central to Redfern with Cityrail..

Ok sometimes I get my camera out and sometimes I don't and sometimes I just have to! I asked these two lovely young ladies who as chance would have it jumped into the same train carriage as me if I could take their picture; even though I had no idea what they were saying to each other because they are French! Love the pink and blue, the cut-off denim shorts and the bows in their hair, super sweet. And they have taken to that popular footwear known in Old Skool speak as thongs. Well its been pretty hot again so why not. Thanks so much for letting me grab two lovely shots.

Sartorial Splendor in The Rocks Sydney

This is certainly my kind of Australian style. The real deal, no pretending, no faking. And as you can see, time is kind to those with their own sense of style. This gentleman started asking me where I was from from as I was photographing my legs in a window reflection. I kid you not; but, he was more than happy to pose for me for the blog for which I am very much obliged.
