It's now the last week of the
2019 Head On Photography Festival here in Sydney. Thanks to Head On and Fujifilm Australia I have been sponsored with the fabulous X100F to document openings and well; whatever from the festival catches my eye. I've seen quite a few shows. I sat in on about 10 artists talks at the Head On Hub - and I certainly would not have attended quite so many if I had not wanted to document the photographers speaking - and that was a
HUGE bonus as it was a really wonderful experience hearing these talented artists talking about their work. Put these talks on your list for next year; they are free, full of insights into photography, I just felt like I was getting topped up with ideas and inspiration. There are some more openings this week and of course, the HUB is still open with a lot of great work, shows are still up around town; get your skates on and check out as much as you can. I hit the Royal Botanic Gardens this afternoon, it was a beautiful sunny day here in Sydney! Mouse over the image for full details - click image to view larger.
